JD for SCF - Credit Head in an NBFC

Leading Credit Underwriting & Approval:

- Assess and underwrite SCF credit proposals, approve within authority limits, and escalate larger cases with risk mitigation strategies to higher authority or to credit committees

- Assess large ticket size cases of Sales Invoice financing, purchase invoice financing and dealer financing and escalate to higher authority for approval

Domain Product Knowledge :

- Candidate must possess the knowledge of Supply chain finance products - Dealer Financing, Vendor financing, Sales Invoice finance, purchase invoice finance.

Team Leadership:

- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing credit team; ensure best practices and ensure governance standards.

Policy & Process Development:

- Design and update credit policies, underwriting frameworks, and scorecards tailored to SCF.

- Ensure policy compliance and streamline processes for efficient decision-making.

Portfolio Monitoring & Risk Management:

- Track portfolio performance using Early Warning Systems (EWS) and delinquency metrics; take corrective action to control NPAs.

- Monitor external environment-economic trends, RBI/regulatory updates-to adjust strategies and policies accordingly.

Required Qualifications & Skill:

Qualification Details: Education Preferably CA/CFA or MBA in Finance

Experience:

- 10-15+ years in credit; at least 5 years in Supply chain finance

- Currently in a mid-senior credit leadership role at an NBFC or Banks (National Head / Zonal Head Level)

Technical Skills:

- Anchor-based financing, dealer/vendor funding

- Financial statement and cash-flow analysis

- Early warning systems and portfolio analytics
