Role Overview:

As the Credit Head for our NBFC in Delhi, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the credit function, ensuring the quality and profitability of our lending portfolio. You will lead a team of credit professionals, working closely with business development, risk management, and finance teams to develop and implement credit policies, procedures, and strategies. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining a healthy portfolio, mitigating credit risk, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to ensure sound lending practices and compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Lead and manage the credit team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure optimal performance and professional development.

- Oversee the credit appraisal process, ensuring thorough analysis of borrower financials, creditworthiness, and collateral valuation.

- Monitor the credit portfolio, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize losses.

- Manage credit control activities, including timely collection of dues and effective recovery of delinquent accounts.

- Prepare and present credit risk reports to senior management, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.

- Collaborate with business development teams to structure loan products that meet customer needs while adhering to credit risk guidelines.

- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to credit operations and risk management.

- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certification is preferred.
