Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive credit audits of corporate and wholesale loan portfolios to assess the effectiveness of credit risk management practices.
- Evaluate the adequacy of credit policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines.
- Identify and document control weaknesses and process gaps through detailed audit testing and analysis, providing clear and concise findings to management.
- Develop and recommend practical solutions to address identified weaknesses, improving credit quality and mitigating potential losses.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports summarizing findings, recommendations, and management's responses, ensuring timely communication to relevant stakeholders.
- Track and validate the implementation of corrective actions to ensure that identified weaknesses are effectively remediated.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and regulatory changes related to credit risk management, incorporating relevant updates into audit procedures.
- Collaborate with credit risk teams, relationship managers, and internal audit functions to promote a strong risk culture and enhance overall credit risk management effectiveness.
