Credit Analyst - Real Estate Loan - Bank

Job Purpose:

The role involves evaluating credit proposals for clients in the real estate sector, conducting detailed financial and risk analysis, and supporting the sanctioning process by providing sound credit recommendations in line with the bank's policy and risk framework.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze credit proposals for real estate clients, including developers, construction finance, and related entities

- Assess borrower financial statements, cash flows, project viability, repayment capacity, and overall creditworthiness

- Conduct detailed evaluation of project details, sales progress, construction status, and market position

- Prepare credit appraisal notes, financial models, ratio analysis, and risk assessment reports

- Review banking, collateral, compliance, and regulatory aspects of the proposal

- Coordinate with business teams, legal, technical, and risk teams for processing and closure of credit proposals

- Monitor portfolio performance and track covenant compliance, disbursement conditions, and early warning signals

- Support periodic reviews, renewals, and monitoring of existing accounts within the real estate portfolio

- Ensure adherence to internal credit policies, underwriting standards, and regulatory guidelines
