Credit Analyst - Infrastructure/Project Finance

Role: Credit Analyst Infrastructure / Project Finance

Location: Mumbai

Job Role:

- Preparation of detailed Credit Appraisal Notes (CRANs) for Infrastructure & Project Finance proposals (Large Corporates).

- Financial analysis, project viability assessment, sensitivity analysis, and cash flow modelling for infra projects.

- Evaluate project risks including construction risk, regulatory risk, revenue risk, and sponsor strength.

- Discussion with Business Teams on structuring, terms & conditions, and risk mitigants.

- Interaction with clients for information gathering, clarification of financials, and project-related data.

- Ongoing monitoring of sanctioned accounts as per stipulated terms and covenants.

- Preparation of Monthly / Quarterly Monitoring Reports for the portfolio.

- Identification and escalation of early warning signals with recommended action plans.

- Conduct site visits and submit detailed inspection reports.

- Manage and address escalations related to credit risk assessments.

Job Requirements:

- Prior experience in Credit Underwriting for Large Corporates, preferably in Infrastructure / Project Finance.

- Strong understanding of project finance structures (SPVs, cash flow waterfalls, DSCR, escrow mechanisms, etc.).

- Working knowledge of Excel with ability to build and review financial models.

- Exposure to Infra sectors such as Roads, Power, Renewable Energy, Ports, Airports, etc. preferred.

Qualification: CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA.

- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
