Role: Credit Analyst (Real Estate AIF)
Position: Associate / Senior Associate
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end investment transactions including, research, deal evaluation, financial analysis, preparation of Credit Appraisal Note and cashflow projection for committee submission and execution.
- Financial Analysis: Prepare and maintain detailed cashflow models for real estate investments and performing scenario analysis.
- Market Assessment and Feasibility Analysis: Conduct thorough market assessments and feasibility studies for potential investments.
- Deal Process Coordination: Assist and coordinate the entire deal process, including due diligence, preparing Investment Committee (IC) memos, deal documentation and investment(s).
- Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including the legal, technical, compliance, project management, and operations teams.
- Work with the Legal, Technical and Operational teams (both internal and external) for comprehensive due diligence of the transaction and timely execution.
- Site Visits and monitoring: Undertake site visits during the investment process as well as afterwards on regularly basis, understand catchment areas, assess project progress and prepare project progress report.
5) Requirements:
- Strong financial, analytical skills and understanding of real estate deal parameters.
- Proficiency in Excel modelling.
- Sound understanding of financial, legal, and technical aspects of real estate investments.
- Willingness to travel to evaluate deals.
6) Qualifications:
- MBA Finance, CA or any related discipline.
- Relevant working experience in real estate investments (either with Banks, NBFC's or Funds).
- Good teamwork, strong initiative, good financial acumen.
