Roles & Responsibilities - EIF Portfolio (Energy & Infrastructure)
- Support the EIF team across origination and portfolio management, with a strong focus on internal monitoring, reporting, and governance.
- Perform annual credit reviews of energy and infrastructure assets, assessing financial performance, key risks, and covenant compliance.
- Deliver insightful review reports comparing actual performance against financial close assumptions and updated base case scenarios.
- Monitor construction-stage (greenfield) assets, evaluating contractor and Lender Technical Adviser (LTA) reports to track progress, timelines, and risk exposures.
- Manage ongoing portfolio monitoring, ensuring alignment with investment strategy, credit standards, and risk appetite.
- Build and maintain robust financial models to assess creditworthiness and analyze the impact of market or operational changes.
- Oversee financial and information covenant tracking, ensuring timely identification and escalation of exceptions.
- Actively participate in team and governance forums (weekly/monthly), driving follow-ups and ensuring closure of key actions.
- Support portfolio documentation and transaction activities, including waiver/amendment analysis, maintaining counterparty data, and updating portfolio records.
- Assist in regulatory and sustainability reporting, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal standards.
Key Competencies
- 5-8 years of experience in credit analysis/portfolio management, preferably within energy & infrastructure
- Strong understanding of project finance and structured debt
- Solid expertise in financial modelling and analytical tools (Excel)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong attention to detail with ability to work in time-sensitive environments
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- High standards of integrity, compliance, and regulatory awareness
