Responsibilities:
Credit Pre Sanction Appraisal:
- Processing and analysing the loan proposal New/Renewal/Enhancement/BTL.
- Reviewing list of OD accounts overdue and sending to customer for submission of loan documents in case of expiry of loan facility limit.
- Coordinating with customers for collection of information and reviewing them whether documents are in order.
- Coordinating with corporate office (Credit, CPLT and credit admin department) for sending clarification for the loan proposals in process.
- Sending request to valuer for initiating valuation process.
- Follow up for compliance of Audit queries and sending to Corporate office.
- Preparing Disbursement note in case of Development Loans.
- Issuing DS1/DS3 for releasing the property charge.
- Assisting loan customers in case of any queries related to their accounts and rectifying by coordinating with IT.
- Monitoring Accounts for Monthly Repayments.
- MISC work in branch as per need at that time as assigned under the credit analyst role
Skill/Competencies Required for the Role:
- Strong credit analysis skills, gained over 3+ years of experience in the UK clients, with strong emphasis towards real estate transactions, although some experience in corporate/ commercial transactions would be an added bonus.
- This will entail not only credit assessment but the ability to interpret valuation reports and various forms of financial and non-financial information, awareness of the UK real estate environment, trends etc.
- The ideal candidate should have experience in the UK real estate (BTL Commercial & Resi and Development Loans) and have a good knowledge and understanding as to how UK banks operate.
- Strong skills in both spoken and written English.
- Strong skills in both Word and Excel.
- Experience in management information production using Excel and graphical illustrations.
- Good communication skills at all levels, from officer level up to senior management.
- Familiarity with bank credit policies and procedures and be able to interpret and follow effectively.
- The ability to act with integrity, due skill, care and diligence in line with the Bank's core principles.
- 3+ years experience with prudential capital reporting
- Experience in a subsidiary setting would be helpful but not essential
