Roles & Responsibilities:

AI Strategy & Product Vision:

- Define and execute the AI product roadmap for Healthcare RCM, including predictive analytics, intelligent automation, NLP, LLM-driven features, and AI-powered data agents.

- Collaborate with senior leadership to communicate a clear AI product vision aligned with business objectives.

- Identify opportunities for AI/ML in Billing, Claims Management, and Revenue Cycle Operations.

AI/ML Solution Design & Integration:

- Design end-to-end AI/ML workflows: data ingestion, model training, inference, and integration into operational workflows.

- Lead development of ML models for denial prediction, AR prioritization, coding assistance, and automation of RCM tasks.

- Define prompt engineering guidelines, model evaluation metrics, and improvement loops.

- Work with engineering teams to integrate AI/ML models into backend systems, APIs, and UIs.

Requirement Gathering & Prioritization:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize AI use cases across RCM functions.

- Conduct feasibility analysis of ML, NLP, and AI automation applications in healthcare.

- Maintain a clear backlog of AI features with defined business and technical priorities.

Collaboration & Execution:

- Lead cross-functional teams (data science, engineering, product, client success, business).

- Facilitate integration of AI products into lab space environments for clinical and operational workflow optimization.

- Oversee agile development cycles, ensuring sprint planning and delivery align with the AI roadmap.

Analytics & Data Responsibilities:

- Work with data engineers to integrate RCM datasets, PMS/EHR systems, and EDI structures.

- Prepare, clean, and analyze data for model training, accuracy testing, and actionable insights.

- Validate model outputs, monitor accuracy, and detect model drift.

AI Governance & Compliance:

- Ensure AI products adhere to HIPAA, PHI, data privacy, and safety standards.

- Define responsible AI guidelines, guardrails, fallback behaviors, and audit logs.

- Establish model monitoring systems to track usage and real-time feedback.

Lab Space Expertise (Advantageous):

- Collaborate with clinical teams and researchers to integrate AI into lab workflows.

- Provide guidance on integrating AI solutions into biological and clinical datasets.

Client Interaction & Adoption:

- Conduct product demos, training, and enablement sessions for internal teams and healthcare clients.

- Collect feedback on AI capabilities and refine the product roadmap.

- Track product performance, adoption metrics, and client satisfaction.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 8+ years in product management or AI/ML development; 3+ years in AI-driven products for Healthcare RCM.

- Expertise in predictive analytics, NLP, AI/ML platforms (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Hugging Face, OpenAI), and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).

- Strong understanding of Healthcare RCM processes: coding, charge entry, EDI, AR, denials, payment management.

- Hands-on experience with PMS/EHR systems, HL7, FHIR, and EDI formats.

- Knowledge of AI product lifecycle management, agile development, and cross-functional team leadership.

- Knowledge of AI governance, ethical AI, and healthcare data privacy/compliance.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with AI integration in clinical workflows or biomedical research.

- Familiarity with RPA and AI automation in healthcare.

- Experience with AI-based solutions for clinical trials, patient monitoring, and personalized healthcare.

- Certifications in Healthcare IT, RCM, or AI product management.

Soft Skills:

- Strategic thinker aligning AI solutions with business goals.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

- Collaborative, adaptable, and able to work across diverse teams.
