Role Overview: - The Operations Head will oversee and streamline the operational processes of the insurance brokerage firm, ensuring efficient, compliant, and customer-centric execution of daily activities. - The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, optimize resources, and align the operations with the firm's strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities: Operational Management: - Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance with regulatory requirements. - Manage the end-to-end insurance brokerage processes, including underwriting, policy issuance, renewals, claims management, and customer service. - Lead and oversee the daily operations, ensuring adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards. Strategic Planning & Execution: - Collaborate with senior leadership to align operations with the firm's strategic goals. - Drive initiatives to optimize operational workflows and reduce costs without compromising quality or compliance. - Lead the adoption of technology and automation to enhance efficiency and scalability. Team Leadership & Development: - Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. - Establish performance metrics and monitor team performance against key benchmarks. Compliance & Risk Management: - Ensure compliance with insurance regulations, company policies, and industry standards. - Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize exposure. Customer Experience: - Ensure a seamless customer journey by optimizing processes and resolving escalations promptly. - Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to address customer needs effectively. Vendor and Partner Management: - Oversee relationships with insurers, technology vendors, and other external partners. - Negotiate service contracts and monitor vendor performance. Key Requirements: Education & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred). - 8-12 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in the insurance or financial services industry. Skills & Competencies: - Strong understanding of insurance brokerage operations, including compliance and regulatory requirements. - Proven leadership and team management skills. - Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems and implement effective solutions. - Proficiency in insurance technology platforms and tools. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
