Job Title: Group Affinity Head (Insurance)

Job Summary
- We are looking for a dynamic and business-oriented professional to lead the Group Affinity Business with end-to-end ownership of partner acquisition, strategic account management, and revenue growth. This role requires strong expertise in Group Credit Life Insurance, deep understanding of institutional partnerships, and a proven ability to drive profitability through both new business development and expansion of existing relationships.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership capabilities, excellent stakeholder management skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset to scale the business effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Partner Acquisition:
- Identify, acquire, and onboard new affinity partners including NBFCs, FinTechs, Banks, and large institutional clients.
- Build a strong pipeline of strategic partnerships to drive sustainable business growth.
- Lead commercial discussions, pitch proposals, negotiate terms, and close business deals.
Revenue Growth & P&L Management:
- Own and drive revenue, profitability, and growth targets for the assigned region/business portfolio.
- Ensure strong P&L orientation with focus on sustainable margins and business scalability.
- Develop strategic plans to maximize market penetration and revenue contribution.
Key Account Management:
- Manage and grow business from existing strategic accounts.
- Drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities across partner portfolios.
- Build long-term relationships with CXOs, business heads, and senior stakeholders of partner organizations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams such as Product, Underwriting, Operations, Claims, and Legal to deliver customized Group Credit Life solutions.
- Ensure smooth onboarding, implementation, and servicing of partner accounts.
Team Leadership & Governance:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales/business team.
- Build a performance-driven culture focused on execution excellence and relationship management.
- Monitor pipeline health, conversion ratios, approvals, contracts, and partner documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8-13 years of experience in Group Credit Life Insurance / Group Business / Institutional Sales within the life insurance industry.
- Proven track record in partner acquisition, account mining, and revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of affinity business models involving NBFCs, FinTechs, Banks, and institutional partnerships.
- Demonstrated team handling and people management experience.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to engage senior leadership externally and internally.
- Commercial acumen with strategic thinking and operational discipline.
- Mature, polished, and highly professional personality.

- Experience in handling large strategic alliances in life insurance.
- Strong network within NBFC, Banking, and FinTech ecosystem.
