Coverfox - Manager - Claims - Group Insurance

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

- Handle end-to-end operational activities for Group Credit Life & Affinity products.

- Manage policy issuance processes, endorsements, reconciliations, and servicing activities.

- Coordinate daily data exchange between partners, insurers, and internal teams.

- Validate partner data files and ensure accurate policy booking and issuance.

- Monitor TATs and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.

- Maintain MIS reports, operational dashboards, and reconciliation reports.

- Work closely with underwriting, finance, technology, and insurer operations teams for smooth execution.

- Ensure compliance with agreed SOPs, insurer guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Claims Management

- Manage end-to-end claims handling for group insurance products.

- Coordinate with insurers, partners, and claimants for document collection and claim processing.

- Track cl aim status, follow-ups, approvals, and payouts within defined timelines.

- Resolve escalations related to claims and servicing.

- Maintain claims MIS and provide periodic updates to management and partners.

- Identify process gaps and recommend operational improvements.

Stakeholder Management

- Act as a single point of contact for assigned B2B partners and insurers.

- Build strong working relationships with NBFCs, MFIs, Housing Finance companies, and insurer operations teams.

- Support onboarding of new partners and products from an operations perspective.

- Coordinate with tech teams for API/data integration and process automation initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 5+ years of experience in Insurance Operations and Claims handling.

- Strong understanding of Group Credit Life, Affinity, or Group Insurance products.

- Experience working with NBFCs, MFIs, Housing Finance companies, or Bancassurance partners.

- Good knowledge of policy issuance, data reconciliation, endorsements, and claims processes.

- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.

- Proficiency in Excel, MIS reporting, and operational tracking.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume operational environment.

- Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Background

- Experience in Insurance Broker / Insurtech / General Insurance / Life Insurance operations.

- Exposure to insurer coordination and partner servicing.

- Understanding of API/data exchange processes will be an added advantage.
