Job Title: Chief Manager Strategy

Reporting To: Chief Growth Officer (CGO)

Role Overview

This is a high-impact role working directly with the Chief Growth Officer, functioning as a strategic enabler across business, partnerships, and growth initiatives. The role goes beyond traditional business analysis and requires a strong understanding of the insurance ecosystem - especially Life Insurance- along with the ability to drive insights, support decision-making, and influence stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will act as the CGO's right hand, combining analytical rigor with market awareness and strong interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic & Business Support

- Work closely with the CGO on key growth initiatives across Credit Life, NBFC, MFI, and Affinity partnerships

- Assist in evaluating new business opportunities, partnerships, and product constructs

- Prepare business cases, strategy decks, and leadership presentations

2. Industry & Market Intelligence

- Track insurance industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging opportunities

- Strong understanding of Life Insurance products, distribution models, and pricing constructs

- Monitor regulatory developments (IRDAI, RBI) and assess business impact

3. Data Analysis & Insights

- Analyze sales, persistency, and claims data to derive actionable insights

- Support revenue optimization, partner performance tracking, and portfolio health monitoring

- Build dashboards, MIS, and executive summaries for leadership review

4. Stakeholder Management

- Coordinate with insurers, NBFCs, MFIs, and internal teams (Sales, Ops, Product)

- Support negotiations and commercials with partners and insurers

- Act as a bridge between business, operations, and leadership

5. Executive Office Support

- Drive key projects and follow-ups on behalf of the CGO

- Ensure timely execution of strategic initiatives

- Prepare notes, MOMs, and track actionable across functions

Candidate Profile

- Experience: 5 to 7 years in Life Insurance / Insurtech / BFSI

- Strong understanding of Credit Life, Group Insurance, and Affinity products

- Working knowledge of General Insurance is an added advantage

- Familiarity with IRDAI regulations, RBI guidelines, and compliance frameworks
