We are seeking a qualified and experienced Associate Manager - Taxation to manage all aspects of direct and indirect tax compliance for our domestic and global operations.

The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and results-driven professional with a strong understanding of Indian and international tax laws, capable of ensuring timely and accurate filings, minimizing tax penalties, and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Tax Compliance: Oversee and manage all direct and indirect tax compliance activities, including the preparation and filing of income tax, TDS, and GST returns.

- Audit Management: Act as the primary point of contact for tax, statutory, and internal audits.

- This includes handling income tax and GST assessments and preparing all required tax schedules and reconciliations.

- International & Regulatory Filings: Manage cross-border taxation compliance with a working knowledge of DTAA, BEPS, and equalization levy.

- Handle all necessary filings and documentation under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA).

- Advisory & Planning: Provide advisory support on tax implications for business units, particularly for GST on domestic and export transactions.

- Contribute to tax planning initiatives and monitor changes in tax laws to keep stakeholders informed.

- Documentation & Coordination: Maintain meticulous documentation of all tax filings and correspondence.

- Coordinate effectively with internal departments, external consultants, and auditors to ensure all tax-related matters are handled efficiently.

Technical Skills:

Taxation:

- Strong knowledge of Indian direct and indirect taxation laws.

- Working knowledge of Transfer Pricing, DTAA, BEPS, and FEMA.

Software & Tools:

- Proficiency in MS Excel for tax workings and analysis.

- Hands-on experience with Tally/ERP systems and other tax compliance tools.

Process:

- Experience in handling multi-entity tax compliance and SEZ operations.

Education & Experience

Education: Must be a Chartered Accountant.

Experience: A minimum of 3-6 years of experience in Direct and Indirect Taxation
