
Country Sales Head (B2B,B2G)

Qualification & Experience
Education
B.E. / B.Tech Electrical Engineering (Preferred)
MBA / PGDM Desirable
Experience
- 15 to 25+ years in B2B and B2G sales within the power / electrical equipment industry
- Strong exposure to government, utility, PSU, and institutional sales
- Proven track record of managing pan-India sales teams
- Working knowledge of tender-based business, without hands-on tender execution
Key Responsibilities
B2B & B2G Sales Leadership (Primary Focus)
- Drive pan-India B2B & B2G sales strategy for power products
- Grow business with Utilities, SEBs, PSUs, EPCs, OEMs, and Industrial End Users
- Build and sustain senior-level relationships with government bodies, utility heads, PSU leadership, CXOs, and large corporate customers
- Lead strategic and marquee national accounts
- Expand presence in key infrastructure, industrial, and energy transition projects
Market & Channel Development
- Develop and strengthen channel partners, distributors, and system integrators
- Identify new regions, customers, and applications for growth
- Drive sales productivity, coverage, and pipeline quality
Government & Institutional Engagement (B2G)
- Engage with central/state utilities, SEBs, PSUs, and government agencies
- Track policy, regulatory, and infrastructure developments impacting the power sector
- Represent the organization in industry forums, customer meets, and government interactions
Tendering Oversight (Support Role)
- Provide strategic guidance and final approvals for large tenders
- Participate in bid/no-bid and pricing decisions
- Support negotiations for high-value B2G and EPC contracts
- Ensure commercial discipline without direct operational involvement
Team Leadership & Governance
- Build, mentor, and lead pan-India sales and key account teams
- Set targets, incentives, and performance metrics
- Own sales forecasting, reviews, and reporting to leadership
