India is one of our fastest-growing markets, and we are now looking for a strong commercial leader to head our India operations.

Position: Country Manager India

Location: Mumbai (preferred) or major metropolitan city

Department: Sales APAC Region

Reports To: Sales Director APAC

Team Size: Leading and developing the India team of 5 employees with the mandate to expand the team.

Role Summary:

The Country Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth in India, strengthening NOVENCOs market presence, and leading the India sales team.

The role requires a commercially strong, technically capable leader with deep knowledge of HVAC, Air Handling Units (AHUs), fans, or

ventilation systems.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for OEM partnerships, distributor management, key accounts, consulting engagement, and overall business development in India.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Sales & Business Growth

- Drive sales of NOVENCO fans and ventilation solutions across India



- Build and execute Indias sales strategy aligned with global/APAC goals



- Meet revenue targets, margins, and growth KPIs



- Expand presence in key verticals (OEMs, industrial, commercial, retrofits)

2) OEM (Air Handling Unit) Sales

- Develop long-term relationships with AHU manufacturers across India



- Conduct technical/commercial discussions with OEM partners



- Support joint business planning and secure yearly volume commitments

3) Distributor & Channel Management

- Manage and support existing distributors in industrial and retrofit markets



- Appoint new distributors where needed to strengthen coverage



- Monitor performance, ensure alignment, and resolve channel conflicts

4) Key Account & Consultant Engagement

- Build strong relationships with consultants, specifiers, and large end-users



- Ensure NOVENCO products are included in project specifications



- Representing NOVENCO in customer meetings, presentations, consultant engagements and industry events.

5) Sales Operations

- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and reporting



- Use structured sales processes (CRM, funnel management, forecasting tools)



- Prepare monthly/quarterly business updates for APAC leadership

6) Team Leadership

- Lead, coach, and develop the India sales team



- Conduct performance reviews, set KPIs, and support capability building



- Build a high-performance culture aligned with NOVENCOs values

Required Qualification & Experience:

- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related field



- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in the HVAC industry, ideally with fans, AHUs or associated ventilation technology



- Experience handling OEM sales, AHU manufacturers, and industrial clients



- Proven success in distributor/channel management



- Strong commercial skills (pricing, margin management, negotiation)



- A strong track record in sales leadership, young, vibrant personality.



- Experience working with global companies or international reporting structures



- Exposure to consultants and spec-in selling



- Experience in data centres, industrial ventilation, or mission-critical environments

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong understanding of fans, motors, ventilation principles



- Ability to discuss fan curves, efficiency, acoustics, and sizing



- Experience in solution-based selling



- Commitment: Results-driven, customer-focused, reliable
