Country Manager - India
Location: Mumbai or Delhi (with national oversight across major logistics hubs)
About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Country Manager - India to lead, scale, and transform our India operations.
This is a senior leadership role with full P&L accountability, overseeing freight forwarding (air and sea), warehousing, transportation, customs clearance, and project logistics.
The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial skills, sector expertise, and proven multi-location leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead India business with full P&L ownership across all logistics services.
- Develop and execute a pan-India strategy aligned with global growth vision.
- Drive warehousing expansion (bonded + domestic) and integrated distribution solutions.
- Scale IOR/EOR services (India-US, India-Africa, India-Middle East).
- Expand business across chemicals, steel, automotive, and defense verticals.
- Strengthen and scale project logistics practice.
- Incubate 4PL control tower solutions, leveraging proprietary SCM platforms.
- Expand and strengthen road logistics and partial truckload services, integrating warehousing and distribution to deliver high-margin domestic solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including DG/chemical/defense norms.
- Build, mentor, and manage a multi-city, high-performance team with structured KPIs.
Candidate Profile (Non-Negotiables):
- 12-15 years of leadership experience in freight forwarding, warehousing, or integrated logistics in India.
- Strong exposure to chemical logistics / regulated supply chains (pharma, auto, defense, DG preferred).
- Proven P&L management and experience scaling operations nationally.
- Deep understanding of customs, bonded warehousing, and multimodal transport.
- Track record of leading large, multi-location teams.
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and execution focus.
- Comfortable in a fast-growth, entrepreneurial, and tech-enabled environment.
