We are currently looking to hire a Country Manager for one of our leading FMCG clients.
Location: Nepal
Experience: 5-8 Years
Role Highlights:
- The incumbent will hold overall P&L responsibility (top and bottom line) for Nepal Business.
- Building the branded business and GTM for general trade & modern trade for the organization in Nepal.
- Overseeing the sales ecosystem through Sales Force Automation in the country
Strong Importer Management
- Oversee sales and distribution, marketing, demand planning with India based supply chain teams commercial functions
- Lead marketing activities, advertising development / media planning
Orchestrating new product launches
- Lead Sales teams and ensure deliveries of primaries, secondaries to local distributors
- Manage shipments to the importers & their inventory levels
- Travel 7-8 days outside Kathmandu in the local markets
- Build enabling systems, controls and processes across sales, manufacturing & commercial functions
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Postgraduate from reputed B. School in Sales & Marketing with 5-8 years into FMCG GT Sales/ Regional Trade Marketing
- Experience of working in Nepal/Bangladesh/Sri Lanka/Cambodia/Indonesia will be an added plus
- Strong negotiation skills in managing Importers
- Strong entrepreneurial approach to drive growth opportunities would be desirable
- Good commercial acumen and strong analytics is desired with the ability to put in place controls and processes required in a fast-growing organization
- Good communication skills, Result Orientation, Execution Excellence, Valuing people and relationship, Excellent team management skills
