Our client, a global consulting firm, is working with a leading consumer appliances organisation, is undertaking a comprehensive cost transformation initiative aimed at improving operational efficiency and EBITDA performance. This engagement is part of a broader effort to optimise costs across SG&A, fixed expenses, and procurement, ensuring sustainable profitability and enhanced value delivery.
The consultant will play a critical role in driving this cost transformation agenda. They will analyse current spend, identify optimisation opportunities, and work closely with stakeholders to implement initiatives, directly influencing measurable improvements in cost efficiency and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct detailed spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities across functions.
- Generate actionable ideas for SG&A optimisation, fixed cost reduction, and procurement value generation.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to prioritise initiatives and drive them through to full implementation.
- Develop frameworks and tools to track cost optimisation progress and impact on EBITDA.
- Support cross-functional teams in embedding cost-conscious processes and best - practices.
Your Background:
- 5-10 years of experience in cost transformation, process optimisation, or finance/operations improvement roles.
- Strong experience in large organisations, with demonstrable success in SG&A optimisation, fixed cost reduction, and procurement initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to influence senior leadership.
- Preferred experience in consumer appliances or consumer goods; candidates from other industries with relevant cost transformation experience are also encouraged.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business case development skills.
Other Info :
The role is full-time and based on-site in Goa, with the consultant expected to work 5 days a week at the client location. Travel and accommodation will be covered. The engagement is initially for 6 months, starting end of April, and may be extended based on project needs and performance.
