Cost Analyst - Financial Services

Industry: Finance/Banking

Location: Ranchi

Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CA/ICWA preferred).

Experience: 4-8 Years

- Conduct detailed cost analysis of loan operations, collections, and branch-level activities to identify cost-saving opportunities.

- Monitor and analyze cost variances, budgeting, and financial performance against targets.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports for management review.

- Evaluate process efficiency and recommend cost-control measures to improve operational profitability.

- Support business planning, forecasting, and pricing models for new financial products.

- Collaborate with finance, operations, and business heads to align cost strategies with company goals.

- Review vendor contracts, procurement, and overhead expenses to ensure optimal cost utilization.

- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost efficiency and operational margins.

- Assist in internal audits and compliance related to cost management.

- Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CA/ICWA preferred).

- 4-8 years of proven experience as a Cost Analyst, Financial Analyst, or Management Accountant (preferably in NBFC, Banking, or Financial Services sector).

- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, and financial modeling.

- Proficiency in Excel, MIS reporting, and ERP systems (SAP, Tally, or similar).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with cross-functional teams.

- Good communication and presentation skills.
