Role Summary:

We are seeking a visionary Senior Vice President CSR Head to lead our bank's social impact mandate across India. As a critical member of the Group Strategic Marketing & Communications team, you will act as a "Purpose Architect," elevating our brand by improving lives through high-impact initiatives in Education, Financial Inclusion, Mental Health, and Basic Needs. You will be responsible for the end-to-end governance of the Bank's Foundation, ensuring that every rupee deployed creates measurable, sustainable change while adhering to stringent international and national regulatory standards. The ideal leader is a high-energy, results-driven professional who can transform CSR from a compliance requirement into a powerful brand differentiator.

Responsibilities:

- Strategic Impact Leadership: Develop and execute high-level strategies to improve livelihoods in India, focusing on food security, shelter, education, and the digital transformation of financial inclusion.

- Governance & Regulatory Compliance: Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks to ensure 100% compliance with Indian (MCA/Section 135) and International social responsibility regulations.

- Impact Measurement & Evaluation (M&E): Design comprehensive monitoring frameworks to assess the efficacy of regional initiatives, utilizing data-driven insights to pivot strategies for maximum efficiency.

- Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate a diverse ecosystem of partners, including Government bodies, NGOs, and social enterprises, to amplify the Banks reach and influence.

- Brand & Marketing Synergy: Work closely with the Communications team to integrate social impact stories into the Banks digital marketing strategy, enhancing brand recall and differentiation.

- Thought Leadership & Advocacy: Represent the Bank at national and international conferences, contributing to the discourse on sustainability, social innovation, and "Impact Investing."

- Team & Resource Management: Lead and mentor a cross-functional team, fostering a culture of collaboration, high empathy, and low ego to drive zonal and national goals.

- Budgetary Oversight: Oversee the allocation and utilization of the CSR corpus, ensuring transparency, accountability, and a high ROI (Return on Investment) in social terms.

- Stakeholder Management: Manage complex relationships with internal business units and external impact investors, ensuring the "Bank Brand" is protected and enhanced.

- Content & Narrative Creation: Oversee the creation of high-quality contentincluding annual reports and digital impact storiesthat resonates with a broad audience of stakeholders.

Technical Requirements:

- Senior Leadership Expertise: 15+ years in CSR, Sustainability, or Foundation Management, with at least 5 years in a Senior Leadership role within a large corporate or bank.

- Regulatory Depth: Mastery of the Companies Act 2013, CSR Amendment Rules, and global sustainability reporting standards (GRI/BRSR).

- M&E Proficiency: Hands-on experience with social audit tools and SROI (Social Return on Investment) methodologies.

- Digital Literacy: High comfort level with digital communication platforms and CSR management software for project tracking.

Preferred Skills:

- Public-Private Partnership (PPP): Proven track record of executing large-scale projects in collaboration with the Indian Government.

- Crisis Communication: Ability to protect the Banks brand during sensitive social issues or environmental shifts.

- Financial Inclusion Depth: Specific experience in deploying banking products or literacy programs for the "unbanked" segments.
