Job Summary:


The Corporate Sales Manager - EB Sales will be responsible for driving new business acquisition and managing key client relationships within the employee benefits segment.


This role requires a strong understanding of various employee benefits products (e.g., group health insurance, group term life, group personal accident, superannuation, gratuity, voluntary benefits), excellent consultative selling skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets in a B2B environment.


The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for building long-term client partnerships and delivering tailored solutions that meet their unique needs.


Key Responsibilities:


New Business Development:

- Identify, prospect, and acquire new corporate clients for employee benefits solutions.

- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals.

- Conduct thorough needs analysis with prospective clients to understand their current employee benefits landscape, challenges, and objectives.

- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to C-suite executives, HR heads, and key decision-makers.

- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring profitability and adherence to company guidelines.

Client Relationship Management:


- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations.

- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on employee benefits trends, regulatory changes, and optimal plan design.

- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through proactive engagement, timely service, and effective issue resolution.

- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling additional benefits products and services.

Market Intelligence & Product Knowledge:


- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, market dynamics, and regulatory developments

in the employee benefits space.

- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company's full suite of employee benefits products and services.

- Provide feedback to product development and marketing teams based on client needs and market insights.

Sales Operations & Reporting:


- Manage sales pipeline effectively using CRM tools, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.

- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews for management.

- Collaborate with internal teams (underwriting, operations, claims, service) to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.


Qualifications:


Education: Master of Business Administration (MBA) is mandatory.


Experience: 4-6 years of progressive experience in corporate sales, with a significant focus on Employee Benefits (EB) sales within the insurance, brokerage, or financial services industry.


Domain Expertise: Proven understanding of various employee benefits products, their features, benefits, and market positioning.

Sales Track Record: Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth.


Skills & Competencies:

- Exceptional Communication: Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.


- Negotiation & Influencing Skills: Proven ability to negotiate effectively and influence decision-makers at all levels.

- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies and manage a complex sales cycle.

- Client Focus: A genuine commitment to understanding client needs and delivering superior service.

- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed business decisions.

- Relationship Building: Natural ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and colleagues.

- Self-Motivated & Resilient: Highly driven, proactive, and able to work independently while also being a strong team player.

- Tech Proficiency: Proficient in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
