Job Summary:
This role requires a strong understanding of various employee benefits products (e.g., group health insurance, group term life, group personal accident, superannuation, gratuity, voluntary benefits), excellent consultative selling skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets in a B2B environment.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for building long-term client partnerships and delivering tailored solutions that meet their unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new corporate clients for employee benefits solutions.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals.
- Conduct thorough needs analysis with prospective clients to understand their current employee benefits landscape, challenges, and objectives.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to C-suite executives, HR heads, and key decision-makers.
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring profitability and adherence to company guidelines.
Client Relationship Management:
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on employee benefits trends, regulatory changes, and optimal plan design.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through proactive engagement, timely service, and effective issue resolution.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling additional benefits products and services.
Market Intelligence & Product Knowledge:

- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company's full suite of employee benefits products and services.
- Provide feedback to product development and marketing teams based on client needs and market insights.
Sales Operations & Reporting:
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews for management.
- Collaborate with internal teams (underwriting, operations, claims, service) to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.
Qualifications:
Education: Master of Business Administration (MBA) is mandatory.
Domain Expertise: Proven understanding of various employee benefits products, their features, benefits, and market positioning.
Sales Track Record: Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth.
