Corporate Head - Sustainability/EHS & Manufacturing Excellence

Key Responsibilities

Statutory EHS Compliance

- Ensure compliance with all applicable EHS laws and regulatory requirements.

- Guide plants on statutory obligations and close compliance gaps.

- Conduct audits and drive timely corrective actions.

Safety Culture & Performance

- Drive risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety training.

- Lead safety committees and employee engagement programs.

- Ensure effective CAPA implementation to prevent incidents.

Environmental Sustainability & ESG

- Lead energy efficiency, waste management, and emission reduction initiatives.

- Track environmental KPIs and oversee ESG reporting and hazard communication.

EHS Governance & Systems

- Develop and standardize EHS policies, SOPs, and reporting frameworks.

- Ensure audit-ready documentation and digital EHS compliance tracking.

Regulatory Approvals & Projects

- Manage regulatory approvals (COE, CTE, CTO) for Greenfield and Brownfield projects.

- Coordinate EIA studies, EMP implementation, and regulatory engagements.

- Liaise with authorities (PESO, SPCB, CPCB, MoEFCC, industrial bodies) for approvals, renewals, and issue resolution.

Manufacturing Excellence & Transformation

- Lead Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, and CI initiatives across plants.

- Standardize manufacturing systems, KPIs, and performance reviews to drive productivity, quality, cost, and delivery improvements.
