Description:
Role Objective:
Lead corporate customer acquisition for group captive solar projects. Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and closing long-term PPAs to build a 100 MW portfolio in Tamil Nadu.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and acquire C&I customers under group captive model
- Structure 26% equity participation for corporates
- Negotiate long-term PPAs (1520 years)
- Tariff modelling and savings analysis vs DISCOM tariff
- Manage term sheets and convert to bankable PPAs
- Build 50 to 100 MW pipeline within 18 to 24 months
- Maintain relationships with industrial clusters (Sriperumbudur, Oragadam, Coimbatore, Tiruppur)
Required Experience:
- 8 to 15 years in solar IPP / open access business
- Must have personally closed minimum 30 MW+ corporate PPAs
- Deep knowledge of:
- Group captive regulations
- Open access structure in Tamil Nadu
- CSS, AS, banking charges
- Strong network with C&I power buyers
