
Job Summary
The Sr. Academic Counsellor will play a strategic role in delivering high-impact academic and career guidance to students and parents. The role involves handling complex counselling cases, offering advanced career pathway planning, driving enrolment conversions, and setting counselling quality benchmarks. The Sr. Academic Counsellor will also support junior counsellors through mentoring, contribute to process improvements, and work closely with leadership to enhance counselling outcomes while ensuring strict adherence to ethical and organisational standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead in-depth academic and career counselling discussions with students and parents, addressing complex career goals and long-term progression plans
- Deliver expert-level guidance by mapping student profiles to suitable programmes and future career pathways
- Handle high-intent and high-value leads, ensuring superior counselling quality and conversion outcomes
- Conduct counselling interactions through calls, virtual meetings, and CRM systems with a consultative approach
- Provide detailed explanations of programme structures, outcomes, eligibility criteria, fees, and admission processes
- Drive enrolment closures by addressing concerns, objections, and decision barriers through informed counselling
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of counselling interactions, applications, and follow-ups in the CRM
- Contribute to the enhancement of counselling SOPs, scripts, and best practices
- Ensure strict adherence to organisational SOPs, communication guidelines, and ethical counselling practices

- Work Mode: Onsite (5 Days WFO), and Saturday WFH
