Key Responsibilities :
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Lead preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
- Manage group consolidation and ensure accuracy of intercompany eliminations.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and internal reporting requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors for annual and quarterly audits, providing necessary documentation.
- Ensure compliance with income tax and transfer price including tax audit
- Support board meetings, audit committee requirements, Annual report
Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis
- Drive the annual budgeting and long-range financial planning processes.
- Prepare rolling forecasts and conduct variance analysis against actuals.
- Provide financial insights, trend analysis, and recommendations to senior management.
- Partner with business units to understand financial performance drivers.
Corporate Finance Activities
- Monthly AR & AP activities and controls
- Support capital allocation initiatives, investment analysis, and business case evaluations.
- Prepare financial models for strategic decision-making, M&A assessments, and scenario planning.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity positions.
Governance, Controls & Process Improvement
- Maintain strong financial controls and ensure adherence to corporate policies.
- Identify and implement improvements to financial reporting processes and systems.
- Lead automation and digital transformation initiatives within finance.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and Business Units.
- Present financial results and insights to senior leadership.
- Serve as the point of contact for external auditors, regulators, and consultants.
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor the financial reporting team.
- Set clear goals and ensure capability-building and continuous improvement.
Experience & Qualification:
- CA/MBA Finance/ICWA with Min 10-14 years' relevant work experience with specific experience in central reporting for Industrial manufacturing companies, preferably equipment manufacturing and MNCs.
- Strong analytical mind Besides excellent skills and familiarity with database, accounting and spreadsheet software
- IFRS, Ind AS, IFC knowledge
- Listed entity experience is preferred
- Excellent financial analysis and modelling skills.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance principles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel/Power BI.
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
