- Analyze credit profiles and leverage ratios to determine optimal capital mix and ensure long-term financial stability.
Strategic Advisory and Risk Management:
- Provide strategic financial guidance on corporate restructuring efforts, including divestitures, spin-offs, and operational turnaround strategies, focusing on maximizing shareholder value.
- Conduct in-depth cost optimization and performance improvement studies, identifying efficiency gains and implementing process enhancements leveraging methodologies like activity-based costing (ABC).
- Assess and advise on client risk management frameworks related to financial exposures (FX, interest rates, commodities) and enterprise-level strategic risks, quantifying their potential financial impact.
Market and Economic Analysis:
- Conduct deep-dive analysis of industry-specific financial metrics, global economic indicators, and regulatory changes to provide contextually relevant and actionable strategic advice.
- Benchmark client business performance against key competitors and industry averages to identify competitive advantages and areas for strategic investment or divestment.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or an equivalent professional finance designation is highly desirable.
- Advanced proficiency in financial databases and data providers (e.g., Bloomberg Terminal, Refinitiv Eikon, CapIQ).
- Demonstrated experience with specialized M&A software and virtual data rooms (VDRs).
- Strong technical knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or U.S. GAAP.
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently under tight deadlines within a fast-paced consulting or investment banking environment
