Corporate Development Analyst - M&A/IR/Capital Markets/Corporate Finance


Role Overview:


We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Corporate Development Analyst to join our dynamic team in Gurgaon/Gurugram. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our strategic initiatives across M&A, Investor Relations (IR), Capital Markets, and Corporate Finance.


You will work closely with senior management, investment bankers, and other key stakeholders to evaluate potential investment opportunities, develop financial models, and prepare presentations for investors and the board of directors. Your work will directly contribute to the company's growth strategy, capital allocation decisions, and overall financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct in-depth industry research and competitive analysis to identify potential M&A targets and investment opportunities.

- Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate transaction opportunities, assess valuation, and project financial performance.

- Prepare presentations and reports for senior management, the board of directors, and investors, summarizing key findings and recommendations.

- Support the execution of M&A transactions, including due diligence, negotiation, and integration planning.

- Assist in the preparation of quarterly earnings releases, investor presentations, and other IR materials.

- Monitor capital markets trends and analyze the impact on the company's valuation and capital structure.

- Support the development and execution of capital markets transactions, including debt and equity offerings.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to ensure the successful execution of strategic initiatives.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to perform rigorous financial analysis, including valuation, financial modeling, and discounted cash flow analysis.

- Strong understanding of corporate finance principles, M&A processes, and capital markets dynamics.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

- Prior experience (1-3 years) in investment banking, private equity, equity research, or corporate development is highly preferred.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial modeling tools.
