Corporate Accounts Manager (Chartered Accountant)
Managing a company's financial integrity by preparing financial statements, ensuring tax compliance, overseeing general ledgers, and providing financial advisory services to support strategic decisions and profitability. Key responsibilities include conducting audits, developing budgets, analyzing financial data, and maintaining strong communication with stakeholders while applying expertise in accounting principles and relevant software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, analyze, and publish financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements to provide insights into the company's financial health.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and provide expert advice on tax planning to maintain regulatory compliance and optimize the company's tax position.
- To handle Tax audits & Tax assessments.
- Responsible for adherence to financial & accounting policies and operating procedures framed by the company.
- Timely booking & payments to Vendor.
- TDS reconciliation with 26 AS.
- To assist Manager F&A in timely closure of all audits e.g. Statutory, Internal and Tax audits
- Maintaining positive interpersonal relationships with team members and others by demonstrating productivity, initiative, flexibility, cooperation, and commitment to the success of F&A team.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts to guide financial decision-making.
- Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and managed within the general ledger.
- Conduct internal audits, evaluate accounting systems, and help establish and maintain internal control systems to prevent fraud and ensure accuracy.
- Offer expert financial advice to management to enhance profitability, support strategic goals, and achieve business objectives.
- Guide and monitor junior accounting staff, providing professional accounting support and ensuring best accounting practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. CA with 8-10 Years of Experience in a Corporate Accounts Department within a Manufacturing Industries & strong ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights. Handle accounting activities with proficiency in SAP FICO.
2. Strong proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, auditing standards, and knowledge of tax laws.
3. The ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and resolve accounting and tax issues.
4. Meticulousness in recording financial transactions and preparing reports to ensure accuracy.
5. A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in financial records and reports.
6. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
7. Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
