Coromandel International - Financial Analyst - Retail SBU Finance Team - CA

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented financial professional with 3 to 4 years of experience to join our Retail SBU Finance team.

Financial Planning & Strategic Analysis

- Assist in formulation of annual budgets, revised estimates, and long-term financial strategies.

- Finalize comprehensive, end-to-end monthly profitability reviews for individual stores.

Financial Accounting, Compliance & Reporting

- Assist in Preparation of monthly financial statements in strict accordance with timelines.

- Maintain rigorous compliance with Ind AS standards, with specific expertise in Ind AS 116 lease accounting.

- Provide accurate data inputs and schedules to corporate finance team for consolidated financial reporting.

- Execute a robust month-end close process with checks and balances.

- Ownership of the store profitability reporting platform to ensure precise alignment of Store Profitability KPIs.

- Fixed asset accounting capitalisation, retirement, and periodical physical verification

Audit & Internal Governance

- Assist in compiling and deliver comprehensive audit schedules to statutory auditors for quarterly, half-yearly, and annual closings.

- Support the corporate finance function for statutory closure.

Systems & Process Optimization

- Support initiatives aimed at automation, digitization, and financial process optimization.

- Assist in ERP system enhancements to improve reporting efficiency and data accuracy.

Candidate Profile

- Experience: 3 to 4 years of post-qualification experience in corporate finance, financial planning, or accounting within a structured enterprise setup.

- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA).

- Technical knowledge: Deep operational knowledge of Ind AS (specifically Ind AS 116) and large-scale ERP environments (e.g., SAP).

Skill Set:

- Strong proficiency in multi-unit variance analysis

- Expertise in handling high-volume financial data

- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

- Ability to work under pressure to meet closing deadlines

- Flexibility to adapt working hours during critical business cycles, such as monthly, quarterly, and annual business plan and LTS finalisations
