Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the international P&L for agricultural machinery, including Baler Machines, Harvesters, Chaff Cutters, TMR, and Nutri Feed systems.
- Build dealer and distributor networks from scratch across target markets in Africa, South/Southeast Asia, Middle East, and South America.
- Design and execute market entry strategies for priority geographies, sequenced by opportunity size and market readiness.
- Manage end-to-end export operations including pricing, documentation, logistics, customs compliance, and after-sales service infrastructure.
- Recruit, train, and activate channel partners with explicit focus on both sales capability and after-sales service competency.
- Represent Cornext at international exhibitions, trade fairs, and institutional meetings; convert presence into qualified pipeline.
- Build and maintain institutional and government relationships in target markets, including ministries of agriculture, development finance institutions, and agribusiness cooperatives.
- Collaborate with internal production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure on-time delivery and fulfilment of customer commitments.
- Provide structured market intelligence to leadership on pricing benchmarks, competitor positioning, and product feedback from the field.
Core Requirements:
15-25 years of international sales experience in agricultural equipment, farm machinery, tractors, or allied agri products.
- Demonstrated track record of building distribution networks in emerging markets, preferably for brands without established global recognition.
- Hands-on experience with export operations: Incoterms, Letter of Credit (LC) documentation, customs clearance, and multi-country logistics coordination.
- Strong understanding of after-sales and spare parts ecosystems for capital equipment - this is a non-negotiable requirement for machinery markets.
- Proven experience in setting up dealer networks in Middle East countries from scratch and actively managing those dealers for sustained sales performance.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills with cross-cultural proficiency.
- Willingness to be based in Hyderabad with frequent international travel (40-50% of the time).
- Graduate in Agriculture, Dairy Science, or Engineering; MBA/PGDM preferred.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with silage, fodder management, or livestock nutrition value chains.
- Exposure to government tenders, agricultural subsidies, and institutional procurement in international markets.
- Experience working with development finance or aid-linked agricultural programs.
- Network of established agri-machinery distributors or dealers in target geographies.
- Good knowledge of foreign trade business, including export-import regulations, trade finance instruments, bilateral trade agreements, and compliance requirements across target geographies.
- In-depth knowledge of agricultural equipment - product categories, technical specifications, application areas, and marketing strategies relevant to smallholder and commercial farming segments across target markets.
