
Key Responsibilities:
1. Contract Review & Analysis:
- Review, interpret, and analyze IT, SaaS, professional services, and vendor contracts.
- Ensure contractual terms, obligations, SLAs, and risks are clearly documented and aligned with company requirements.
- Support redlining efforts and coordinate feedback with legal, procurement, and business teams.
2. Vendor Negotiation & Management:
- Lead vendor negotiations to secure favorable pricing, terms, and conditions.
- Support transition of vendor models (e.g., T&M to MSP) and manage consolidation initiatives.
- Build strong working relationships with vendors to ensure timely compliance and delivery.
3. Contract Lifecycle Management:
- Manage the complete contract lifecycle: drafting, review, approval, signature, and renewal/termination.
- Maintain accurate contract documentation and ensure version control.
- Track contract performance and ensure adherence to agreed-upon terms.
4. Process Improvement & Governance
- Identify opportunities to streamline contract workflows and vendor management processes.
- Implement best practices to improve contract turnaround time, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Support audit requirements, risk assessments, and internal policy alignment.
5. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Use Excel and data tools to analyze vendor spend, contract performance, and compliance metrics.
- Prepare periodic reports, dashboards, and insights for senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with SQL or data visualization tools is an advantage.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with legal, procurement, finance, vendor management, and business units.
- Communicate contract risks, dependencies, and negotiation results to stakeholders.
- Ensure smooth coordination of contract approvals and vendor onboarding processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in contracts management, vendor negotiations, or contract operations.
- Mandatory prior experience in the contracts ecosystem (legal, procurement, vendor management, contract operations).
- Strong understanding of contractual clauses, redlining, terms, and conditions.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with vendors.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills; proficiency in Excel.
- Experience in process improvements and implementing vendor management strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to IT, SaaS, or professional services vendor contracts.
- Experience transitioning vendor models (e.g., T&M - MSP) and consolidation strategies.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with contract management platforms is a plus.
