Are you a word wizard who can simplify the complex, captivate through storytelling, and write copy that converts? Unstop is looking for a Content Writer to join our fast-paced team to create compelling, SEO-friendly, and engaging content that speaks to our diverse audience of students, professionals, and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and edit blog posts, website content, newsletters, and social media copies
- Conduct research on industry-related topics and stay updated on trends
- Collaborate with internal teams to write content aligned with campaigns, product launches, and
events
- Optimize content using SEO best practices to improve visibility and traffic
- Edit and proofread content for clarity, grammar, and tone of voice
- Repurpose long-form content into short-form assets (reels scripts, captions, microblogs, etc.)
- Assist with content planning, ideation, and content calendar management
What We're Looking For:
- 3-4 years of experience in content writing, copywriting, or digital marketing.
- A strong portfolio of written work across different formats
- Solid grasp of grammar, storytelling, and brand tone
- Familiarity with SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Keyword Planner
- Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress is a plus
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have:
- Prior experience working with a startup, ed-tech, or youth-centric brand
- Knowledge of leveraging AI tools to refine content (not write it)
- AI-SEO know-how will be a bonus
- Understanding of content performance metrics (CTR, bounce rate, engagement)
- A flair for writing catchy headlines and engaging hooks
