About the Organisation :
A healthcare technology company on a mission to bring defensible, clinically accurate coding to risk adjustment. Headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky and built on 15+ years of healthcare and AI legacy, our neuro-symbolic AI-powered platform helps health plans and providers optimize revenue, ensure compliance, and reduce administrative costs across value-based care.
It is backed by a strategic Industry Trifecta of Series A investors - M12 (Microsofts Venture Fund), UPMC Enterprises, and Healthworx (the investment arm of CareFirst, Inc.) - uniting technology, provider, and payer validation behind defensible risk adjustment.
Position Overview :
We are looking for a highly strategic, research-oriented Content Lead/Strategist with 6+ years of experience in US Risk Adjustment, value based care and healthcare. This role goes beyond writing - you will shape narratives, build market authority, drive organic growth, and position the organisation as a category leader in AI-driven healthcare operations.
You will pair deep domain understanding - CMS guidelines, HCC coding and RAF scoring, and Risk Adjustment workflows, Value-Based Care, and healthcare AI trends - with strong storytelling and analytical thinking, translating complex clinical and AI concepts into compelling narratives for healthcare executives, providers, payers, and industry stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Content & Thought Leadership :
- Develop high-impact thought leadership - whitepapers, executive POVs, industry reports, and research-backed articles - across CMS updates, HCC coding, RADV audits, Risk Adjustment trends, and Value-Based Care transformation.
- Build differentiated narratives around AI-driven healthcare operations and intelligent Risk Adjustment.
- Translate complex clinical, operational, and AI concepts into clear, executive-friendly storytelling for C-suite audiences, health plans, providers, and industry influencers.
Research, Media & Market Intelligence :
- Conduct market, competitor, analyst, and industry research to identify emerging themes, whitespace, and positioning angles.
- Develop research-based content using CMS data, industry reports, and healthcare trends; monitor policy and AI-adoption shifts to keep content timely.
- Support PR, media opportunities, awards submissions, and speaking engagements, and contribute to category-building narratives.
Brand, Organic Growth & Digital Content :
- Drive content-led organic growth through SEO-focused, authority-building content strategies.
- Own website messaging, landing pages, newsletters, executive communications, and LinkedIn thought leadership.
- Create content frameworks that fuel inbound marketing, audience engagement, and pipeline - across digital, events, and webinars.
Key Deliverables :
- Executive thought leadership articles, POVs, and research-backed healthcare/AI content.
- CMS update summaries and impact analysis; analyst- and media-aligned narrative pieces.
- SEO-driven website and organic-growth content; LinkedIn and executive branding content.
- Case studies, product messaging and GTM collateral, and tradeshow/webinar/campaign assets.
Required Qualifications :
- 6 - 8 years of experience in US Healthcare, Risk Adjustment, or healthcare SaaS content strategy.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling, with the ability to simplify complex clinical and technical concepts into compelling business narratives.
- Experience creating content for B2B healthcare and executive audiences, with strong research and analytical capabilities.
Preferred Experience :
- Background in Medical Coding, Clinical Documentation, Healthcare Analytics, or Value-Based Care.
- Experience with AI/ML-based healthcare platforms or healthcare technology companies.
- Exposure to PR, analyst relations, media content, or executive communications.
- Understanding of SEO and organic growth, and familiarity with healthcare publications, conferences, and market narratives.
