Role Overview
The Content Lead will be responsible for building, executing, and optimizing the content strategy across multiple channels-app, website, SEO, CRM, social media, performance marketing, and brand campaigns. The ideal candidate will blend creativity with data-driven execution to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention while reinforcing the brand's voice and positioning.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute a 360- content strategy aligned with business goals (user acquisition, retention, brand awareness).
- Define and maintain the brand voice, tone, and content guidelines for consistency across touchpoints.
Content Creation & Management
- Lead the creation of app content (banners, category descriptions, offer copy) to drive engagement and conversion.
- Oversee CRM content (push notifications, emails, SMS, WhatsApp campaigns) to drive repeat orders and loyalty.
- Partner with design teams to deliver high-quality creatives and video content for campaigns.
- Manage social media content calendars, influencer campaigns, and topical content initiatives.
SEO & Performance
- Own SEO content strategy (blogs, landing pages, product/category descriptions) to drive organic traffic.
- Support performance marketing campaigns with high-converting ad copy and creative hooks.
- Use analytics to continuously optimize content performance across channels.
Team & Collaboration
- Manage a team of writers, freelancers, and agencies to scale content production.
- Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, category, and growth teams to support campaigns.
Requirements:
- 4-7 years of experience in content marketing/management, preferably in eCommerce, D2C, or consumer tech.
- Strong copywriting and storytelling skills with an understanding of digital-first content.
- Proven track record of SEO content execution and driving measurable organic growth.
- Experience with CRM platforms (CleverTap, MoEngage, WebEngage, etc.) is a plus.
- Familiarity with performance marketing and content testing (A/B, creatives, ad copies).
- Ability to analyze content performance metrics and derive actionable insights.
- Strong project management skills - able to juggle multiple campaigns with tight deadlines.
- Passion for consumer internet, retail, or grocery space.
