Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Content Lead to oversee the design, development, and delivery of high-impact content for skill development and capacity building programs, aligned with TVET frameworks and NSDC guidelines.

As the Content Lead, you will be responsible for driving strategic content initiatives, working closely with internal teams, sector skill councils (SSCs), and third-party content partners to develop engaging, industry-relevant training materials.

You will also ensure alignment with Qualification Packs (QPs) and National Occupational Standards (NOS), while managing content quality assurance and vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement the overall content development strategy for skilling, vocational training, and capacity building programs.

- Lead the creation of content aligned with NSDC guidelines, QP/NOS, and industry-specific standards across multiple sectors.

- Develop training content in various formats: instructor-led, digital/e-learning, blended modules, job aids, facilitator manuals, learner handbooks, and assessments.

- Ensure content reflects pedagogical best practices, is inclusive, and supports competency-based training (CBT) methodologies.

- Collaborate with Sector Skill Councils (SSCs), subject matter experts (SMEs), industry bodies, and government stakeholders for content validation and alignment.

- Manage external content vendors, instructional designers, multimedia developers, and translators to deliver high-quality training products.

- Negotiate contracts, monitor vendor performance, and ensure timely delivery of content deliverables.

- Establish and oversee robust quality assurance processes for reviewing, validating, and updating training content.

- Ensure compliance with national standards, regulatory frameworks, and TVET accreditation criteria.

- Periodically review content effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and impact evaluations; iterate and improve accordingly.

- Manage a team of content writers, instructional designers, and reviewers as required.

- Drive project timelines, content calendars, and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

- Support proposal development, RFP responses, and grant applications through content frameworks and writing support.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/Masters degree in Education, Instructional Design, Social Sciences, TVET, or related field.

- 7 to 10 years of experience in content development for skilling, TVET, or education, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.

- Strong understanding of:

- NSDC ecosystem, SSC operations, QP/NOS frameworks

- TVET pedagogies and adult learning principles

- Curriculum development aligned with industry-driven standards

- Proven experience in managing end-to-end content development lifecycle including research, design, writing, testing, and deployment.

- Knowledge of digital learning tools (e.g., Articulate, Moodle, SCORM-compliant platforms) and learning management systems (LMS).

- Familiarity with government-led skilling initiatives such as PMKVY, DDU-GKY, NULM, etc.

- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

- Attention to detail with a commitment to quality and deadlines
