Our client is a global consulting firm partnering with a leading FMCG organisation on a long-term supply chain transformation initiative. The engagement sits at the intersection of advanced analytics and core supply chain planning, supporting critical decision-making across demand, inventory, and production.
The firm is seeking a Supply Chain Analytics Consultant to own and drive specific analytics-led workstreams across demand planning, inventory optimisation, and production/dispatch planning, enabling data-driven decision-making for the clients supply chain operations. The consultant will play a hands-on role in enabling data-driven supply chain outcomes, working closely with client stakeholders and consulting teams to analyse large datasets, build analytical models, and translate insights into actionable planning and execution improvements across the value chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, cleanse, and analyse large-scale supply chain datasets to support planning and operational decisions
- Develop and maintain dashboards, analytical models, and forecasting tools for demand, inventory, and production planning
- Provide ad-hoc and structured analytical cuts to support business reviews and leadership decision-making
- Support initiatives across forecast modelling, demand planning, inventory optimisation, and production/dispatch scheduling
- Collaborate closely with consulting team members and client supply chain stakeholders to translate insights into actions
Your Background:
- 2+ years of experience preferred (no strict cap for strong profiles)
- Engineering background with strong proficiency in data analytics tools such as SQL, Python, R, Excel, Power BI, Alteryx
- Comfortable handling and analysing large, complex datasets
- Prior exposure to supply chain analytics or planning is strongly preferred
- Background can be from consulting or industry roles (e.g., FMCG CoE or supply chain planning teams)
Other Details:
- This is a full-time, dedicated engagement aligned to a 2-year supply chain transformation program, with an initial contract of 9 months, extendable to 12 months or more based on performance and project requirements.
- The consultant should be based in Mumbai or Delhi, with on-site presence at the client location 2 days per week.
