Consultant - Statutory Audit - CA

Role Overview:

As a Consultant in Statutory Audit, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial integrity and regulatory compliance of our diverse client portfolio. You will be responsible for executing comprehensive audit engagements, analyzing complex financial statements, and providing assurance on the accuracy of reporting under GAAP and IFRS frameworks. Working closely with cross-functional engagement teams and senior client stakeholders, you will act as a trusted advisor, identifying process improvements and mitigating financial risks. Your contributions directly impact the transparency and reliability of our clients' financial data, fostering trust with investors and regulatory bodies alike.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute end-to-end statutory audit procedures to ensure financial statements are free from material misstatement and comply with relevant accounting standards.

- Analyze complex accounting transactions and internal control environments to provide actionable insights that strengthen client financial reporting processes.

- Collaborate with engagement managers and client finance teams to resolve audit queries, ensuring timely completion of audit cycles and adherence to strict reporting deadlines.

- Document audit findings and prepare high-quality audit reports that clearly communicate risk assessments and compliance status to senior management.

- Maintain updated knowledge of evolving regulatory requirements and accounting standards to provide proactive guidance and ensure ongoing organizational compliance.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrate technical proficiency in Statutory Audit, Accounting principles, and financial reporting frameworks including GAAP and IFRS.

- Possess a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with 1 - 3 years of professional experience in an audit or assurance environment.

- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail when reviewing financial data and internal control systems.

- Communicate complex financial concepts effectively to diverse stakeholders, maintaining professional skepticism and integrity in all client interactions.

- Adapt seamlessly to a distributed work environment, managing multiple audit engagements across various locations while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
