Consultant/Senior Consultant - Financial Reporting

Role Overview:

We are seeking a high-caliber Consultant/Senior Consultant to join our Financial Reporting practice in Gurugram. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert, guiding clients through complex accounting transitions, financial statement preparation, and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and senior client stakeholders to navigate intricate reporting challenges, ensuring that financial disclosures are accurate, transparent, and aligned with global standards. By providing deep technical insights and strategic advisory, you will directly influence the quality of financial decision-making and help our clients maintain robust reporting frameworks in a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and review complex financial statements to ensure strict adherence to IFRS and GAAP standards for diverse client portfolios.

- Lead technical accounting research to resolve reporting discrepancies, providing clear guidance to stakeholders on the impact of new accounting pronouncements.

- Execute detailed financial analysis to identify trends and anomalies, enabling clients to improve their internal reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.

- Collaborate with audit and finance teams to streamline month-end and year-end closing processes, reducing reporting cycle times and enhancing data integrity.

- Manage client relationships by delivering high-quality advisory services that address specific business needs and regulatory requirements.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in interpreting and applying IFRS and GAAP frameworks to complex business transactions and financial reporting scenarios.

- Proven ability to conduct rigorous financial analysis and translate technical accounting data into actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and build trusted relationships with senior client leadership.

- Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving, ensuring accuracy in high-pressure reporting environments.

- A professional accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA, complemented by 1 to 6 years of experience in a consulting or corporate finance environment.

- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment in Gurugram.
