Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) / MBA Finance / B.Com (with relevant experience)
Consultant / Senior Consultant Finance Transformation (SAP S/4HANA FICO) (7-15 yrs)
Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Finance Transformation professional with hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA FICO and ERP implementations. The role involves working on end-to-end implementation projects, driving process improvements, and supporting digital transformation initiatives across finance functions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. SAP S/4HANA Implementation
- Participate in end-to-end SAP S/4HANA FICO implementations
- Gather business requirements through workshops and stakeholder discussions
- Perform system configuration in FICO modules including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Taxation
- Support integration with other modules like MM, SD, and TRM
2. Requirement Gathering & Solution Design
- Conduct Fit-to-Standard workshops and document business requirements
- Map AS-IS and TO-BE processes and identify improvement areas
- Prepare functional specifications and configuration documents
3. Testing & Deployment
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Prepare test cases, execute scenarios, and resolve defects
- Assist in go-live activities and post-implementation support
4. Data Migration & Integration
- Assist in data migration, validation, and reconciliation
- Ensure data accuracy during system transition
- Support integration with ERP, HRMS, and other finance systems
5. Finance Transformation & Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization
- Support implementation of digital finance tools and automation solutions
- Improve reporting efficiency and reduce manual effort
6. Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Support MIS reporting, financial statements, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with Ind AS / IFRS and statutory requirements
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits
7. Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with business, finance, and IT teams
- Support communication with stakeholders and ensure requirement clarity
- Work in cross-functional and multi-location teams
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA FICO
- Strong understanding of finance processes and accounting principles
- Experience in ERP implementation or finance transformation projects
- Knowledge of testing (SIT/UAT) and data migration
- Basic exposure to automation tools (Excel, VBA, Power Query, etc.)
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Experience:
- Exposure to multiple industries (Manufacturing, Pharma, BFSI, Media, etc.)
- Experience in consulting environment or client-facing roles
- Knowledge of tools like Oracle NetSuite or other ERPs (added advantage)
