Role Summary:


- The Senior SAP SD Consultant will act as a strategic lead and subject matter expert for our Sales and Distribution digital transformation initiatives. This role is designed for a professional who bridges the gap between complex business sales operations and high-performance technology.


- You will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of end-to-end sales processes within the SAP S/4HANA environment, ensuring that our global sales, billing, and logistics workflows are efficient, scalable, and aligned with international business standards.


Key Responsibilities:


- Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution solutions, focusing on streamlining the global Order-to-Cash (OTC) lifecycle.


- Act as a primary consultant for business stakeholders, facilitating workshops to translate high level business goals into actionable functional blueprints and system designs.


- Direct the strategic implementation of S/4HANA-specific capabilities, including Business Partner integration and simplified data models, to improve organizational data transparency.


- Oversee complex pricing and condition techniques to ensure global tax compliance, discount management, and revenue accuracy across diverse markets.


- Manage the integration of sales workflows with critical business functions such as Finance (FI), Materials Management (MM), and Production Planning (PP) to ensure a unified supply chain.


- Design and implement advanced credit management frameworks (FSCM) and automated billing solutions to minimize financial risk and accelerate cash flow.


- Supervise the collaboration with technical teams (ABAP/Development) to ensure custom enhancements and interfaces (EDI/CRM) meet business quality standards without compromising system stability.


- Lead critical project phases, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system cutover planning, and post-go-live operational stabilization for global deployments.


- Drive the adoption of best practices in outbound logistics and settlement management to optimize product delivery and partner reconciliation processes.


- Provide strategic guidance on system conversion strategies, whether through Greenfield (new) or Brownfield (migration) implementation paths, to ensure minimal business disruption.


Mandatory Skills & Experience:

- A minimum of 8-12 years of core functional experience in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD), with a proven track record of successful project delivery.


- Completion of at least two full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations, demonstrating expertise in modernizing legacy sales environments.


- Deep expertise in Order-to-Cash (OTC) process optimization, including complex pricing

procedures, copy controls, and partner determination logic.


- Strong experience managing global stakeholders and navigating the requirements of large-scale, multi-national business entities.


- Comprehensive understanding of modern credit management, billing procedures, and integrated outbound logistics workflows.


- Proficiency in managing technical interfaces, including IDOCs and third-party system integrations (CRM, Logistics providers, and Tax engines).


- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence decision-making at both the executive and operational levels.


Preferred Skills:


- Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori applications to enhance the user experience and drive mobile accessibility for sales teams.


- Practical knowledge of the SAP Activate methodology or Agile project management frameworks for accelerated solution delivery.


- Industry-specific expertise in regulated sectors such as Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, CPG, or Retail.


- Familiarity with advanced S/4HANA features like advanced Available-to-Promise (aATP) and embedded analytics for real-time sales reporting.


- Professional certification in SAP S/4HANA Sales or related supply chain modules.


- Prior experience in leading cross-functional teams and mentoring junior consultants in a fast-

paced, hybrid work environment.


- Strategic understanding of SAP Transportation Management (TM) or Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) integration points.
