Job Title: Consultant (Contract Role with Ministry of Economy & Planning, Saudi Arabia)
About the Opportunity:
We are hiring on behalf of our esteemed client Ministry of Economy & Planning (MEP), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for a high-impact role within their Inflation & Supply-Demand Monitoring Unit. MEP is looking to onboard a professional with a background in Visualization, storytelling, and market research.
This is a contractual position for 1 year, with the potential for extension based on performance. This role offers exceptional visibility, contributing directly to high-priority national initiatives under Vision 2030, while collaborating with multiple government entities including MoCI, ZATCA, Customs, sector regulators, and senior government executives.
Location: Riyadh
Compensation: Best-in-class; commensurate with experience
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES:
- Prepare quarterly and ad hoc reports for the Strategic Monitoring Committee and high-level stakeholders.
- Design compelling, insight-driven slides and infographics using PowerPoint and design tools.
- Translate complex data and forecasts into accessible visuals for decision-makers.
- Collaborate with data and analytics teams to ensure alignment of outputs.
- Maintain consistent methodologies and documentation practices for reporting.
- Develop and manage dashboards where applicable.
- Benchmark best practices in economic storytelling from institutions like IMF, World Bank, McKinsey, Bloomberg, etc.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- 4+ years in economic or policy reporting, research communication, or BI analytics
- Exceptional PowerPoint skills; familiarity with Think-Cell, Illustrator, or Figma preferred
- Excellent skills in writing, visualization, and data storytelling
- Attention to detail and editorial consistency
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters in Economics, Policy, or Data Visualization, or any relevant field
- Prior experience in management consulting is required
