About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Internal Audit Consultant to join our team. The role involves executing audits, testing controls, and supporting clients in achieving compliance and process excellence. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of audit procedures, risk and control frameworks, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

- Audit Execution: Perform audit procedures and test controls as per Risk Control Matrix (RCM).

- Client Engagement: Participate in introductory calls to understand client background, audit objectives, and engagement expectations.

- Team Leadership: Act as a team lead, providing coaching, guidance, and conducting first-level reviews of deliverables.

- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain proper documentation trails, provide timely feedback, and ensure accuracy in audit records.

- Analytics Support: Assist in analytics, data extraction, and sample selection for ICFR (Internal Controls over Financial Reporting) and audit engagements.

- Compliance & Standards: Ensure all work adheres to audit standards, internal protocols, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Attributes

- Strong knowledge of internal audit practices, ICFR, and RCM frameworks.

- Proficiency in analytical thinking, risk assessment, and report preparation.

- Good communication and client interaction skills.

- Ability to lead small teams and ensure quality deliverables.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.

Qualification & Experience

- CA / MBA (Finance or related field).

- 13 years of relevant experience in internal audit, risk management, or related fields
