Consultant - Head - Projects - Renewable Energy

Key Responsibility

Project Execution & Delivery:

- Lead complete lifecycle management of renewable energy projects (Solar, Wind, Hydro, Green Hydrogen).

- Drive execution from concept to commissioning, ensuring compliance with national/international quality standards.

- Ensure successful power evacuation to national/client substations.

- Apply best practices and tools to enhance on-time, on-budget delivery.

- Obtain required land acquisitions, regulatory, and statutory clearances.

Team Leadership & Cross-functional Coordination:

- Lead and build high-performance project execution teams.

- Collaborate closely with internal functions like procurement, supply chain, engineering, finance, and technology.

Engineering & Technical Oversight:

- Supervise engineering initiatives and cross-functional technical teams.

- Ensure robust design, planning, and execution to meet safety, quality, and performance benchmarks.

Strategic & Business Planning:

- Develop and execute project strategies aligned with long-term business goals.

- Drive strategic decision-making and ensure profitable operations.

- Provide inputs into company-level strategic planning and investment decisions.

Risk, Quality, and Compliance:

- Establish robust risk management frameworks to mitigate project execution risks.

- Maintain high standards of quality control, project governance, and regulatory compliance.

Stakeholder & Regulatory Management:

- Engage effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders-vendors, investors, EPC partners, consultants, regulators.

- Ensure projects meet all local and national regulatory requirements.

Additional:

- Allocate approximately 60% of time to on-site project oversight.

- Lead from the front for project execution.

- Demonstrated ability to manage projects across multiple locations.

- Resolve RoW issues and expedite project execution.

- Ensure timely acquisition of connectivity and initial charging approvals within the regulatory framework.

- Monitoring budget performance against actual expenditures and managing project cash flow effectively.
