With a strong foundation in expert network services and custom research, we are now scaling our Financial Services Practice to support private equity, venture capital, investment banking, and corporate finance teams with high-quality modelling, due diligence, and valuation capabilities.
As part of this growth, we are seeking a highly analytical and hands-on professional to join our Financial Modeling & Valuation team.
Position Overview:
- This role will focus on building advanced financial models, conducting end-to-end valuations, and supporting investment decision-making processes for our clients.
- You will work closely with senior leadership, including the Vice President - Research & Consulting, and interface directly with client teams including PE/VC firms, investment banks, and corporate development functions.
- This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, is meticulous with numbers, and can convert financial data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Modeling: Develop robust and dynamic financial models, including DCF, LBO, M&A and Comparable Company Analysis (Comps), tailored to diverse client needs.
- Valuation Analysis: Execute valuation assignments using multiple methodologies discounted cash flow, precedent transactions, trading multiples, etc.
- Due Diligence Support: Analyze company financials, industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to assist in investment decision-making.
- Client Deliverables: Prepare investment memos, pitch decks, and internal stakeholder reports that clearly articulate assumptions, insights, and recommendations.
- Project Ownership: Manage timelines, communicate proactively with clients and internal teams, and ensure quality control in all deliverables.
What Were Looking For?
- Candidate with CFA
- Masters degree in finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
- 23 years of experience in financial modelling, valuation, and investment analysis - ideally from investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, or corporate finance.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including scenario modelling, VBA/macros a plus); exposure to Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or Pitchbook is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to create client-ready presentations and written reports.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a solution-oriented approach.
- Previous experience working with or supporting PE/VC clients will be considered an advantage.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
