Roles and responsibilities:
- Lead Financial Due Diligence projects: Manage and execute financial due diligence engagements for both buy-side and sell-side clients, ensuring that all analyses are thorough and timely.
- Financial analysis: Review and analyze financial statements, working capital, cash flows, net debt, and other key financial metrics to assess financial health and performance of the Target entity.
- Identify risks and opportunities: Provide clients with detailed insights into potential risks and opportunities related to the transaction. Highlight key areas for negotiation and potential value creation.
- Team leadership & management: Lead, mentor, and help other team members to learn and develop while working on engagements. Provide on-the-job training and guidance to enhance team performance.
- Preparation and review of reports: Prepare and review detailed reports for clients, summarizing due diligence findings, financial analysis, and recommendations. Ensure high-quality deliverables are provided as per client specifications.
- Project management: Oversee the completion of due diligence tasks within established timelines, ensuring quality and accuracy. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with cross-functional teams, as needed.
- Client interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and Target management while working on engagements, providing clear and concise updates regarding findings, challenges, and progress.
Education:
- MBA (Finance) /CA
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-8 years of relevant experience in FDD or transaction advisory
- Proven track record of managing complex financial due diligence engagements for M&A transactions.
- Strong understanding of data analytics, accounting principles, and corporate finance.
