Our client is a large diversified group with a large Realty business. They are coming up a with a large Luxury project and are looking to hire a Construction Head at their office in Mumbai.

This is a strategic leadership position for an experienced Civil Engineer who has successfully delivered complex, high - value projects in India and international markets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead overall construction strategy, planning, execution and delivery across assigned projects.

- Drive projects from pre - construction through execution, commissioning and handover.

- Manage project budgets, schedules, procurement, contractors and construction risks.

- Coordinate effectively with architects, consultants, PMC teams, contractors and statutory authorities.

- Ensure adherence to design intent, quality standards, safety requirements and regulatory norms.

- Review construction methodologies, materials, productivity and site performance.

- Monitor project progress and proactively address delays, cost overruns and execution risks.

- Resolve critical technical, contractual and commercial issues.

- Establish strong project governance, reporting and escalation mechanisms.

- Provide regular updates to the CMD and senior management on project progress, risks and mitigation.

- Build, lead and mentor high - performing project and construction teams.

Candidate Profile:

- BE in Civil Engineering.

- 20+ years of overall construction/project execution experience.

- International experience preferred.

- Strong experience in Premium commercial, hospitality, mixed - use and/or luxury high - rise developments.

- Proven track record of managing large, complex and high - value construction projects.

- Strong understanding of construction planning, execution, contracts, procurement, cost and project controls.

- Excellent stakeholder and contractor management skills.

- Demonstrated ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams.

- Strong leadership, communication, decision - making and problem - solving capabilities.

- Experience in developer/client - side construction leadership will be particularly relevant.
