Construction Audit Manager - Audit/Accounting

Shift: 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM IST

Description:

We are looking for an experienced US Audit - Construction Manager with strong hands-on experience in construction industry audits. The ideal candidate should have 8+ years of relevant US Audit experience, with a strong understanding of construction accounting and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage US GAAP audit engagements for construction clients.

- Handle end-to-end audit engagements, including planning, execution, review, and completion.

- Review financial statements, audit workpapers, and supporting documentation.

- Apply strong knowledge of construction accounting, revenue recognition, job costing, WIP schedules, and percentage-of-completion accounting.

- Identify audit risks and ensure appropriate audit procedures are performed.

- Supervise, coach, and review the work of audit staff and seniors.

- Communicate effectively with clients and address audit-related queries.

- Ensure engagements are completed within established timelines and quality standards.

- Work closely with US-based teams and clients across different time zones.

Skills:

Must-Have Requirements:

- 8+ years of relevant US Audit experience.

- Strong core construction industry audit experience is mandatory.

- CPA or CA qualification is mandatory.

- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and US auditing standards.

- Experience with construction accounting, WIP, job costing, and revenue recognition.

- Excellent analytical, communication, and client-management skills.

- Proven experience in managing and reviewing audit teams.

Preferences:

Ideal Candidate:

- CPA / CA with substantial experience in US Construction Audit.

- Strong technical knowledge with the ability to independently manage engagements.

- Experience working with US clients and remote/offshore audit teams.

- Strong leadership and team-management capabilities.

- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
