Role Overview:

The CA - Financial Controller - Statutory Audit - Taxation - Data & Analytics role at Connect and Heal is a critical position responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, statutory compliance, and data-driven insights. This role works closely with the leadership team, external auditors, and tax consultants to ensure accurate financial reporting, efficient tax planning, and robust internal controls. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to the company's financial health and strategic decision-making, enabling Connect and Heal to scale its operations and improve patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the statutory audit process, ensuring compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations, to provide accurate and reliable financial statements.

- Oversee all taxation matters, including direct and indirect taxes, ensuring timely filing of returns and optimizing tax efficiency, to minimize tax liabilities and maintain compliance.

- Develop and implement robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud, ensuring the integrity of financial data.

- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, to provide insights into financial performance and support decision-making.

- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, working with various departments to develop realistic financial plans, to guide resource allocation and achieve financial goals.

- Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis and trend analysis, to identify areas for improvement and optimize financial performance.

- Implement and maintain accounting systems and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient financial record-keeping.

- Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to extract meaningful insights from financial data, to support strategic decision-making and improve operational efficiency.

- Manage cost accounting activities, including cost allocation and cost analysis, to provide accurate cost information for pricing and profitability analysis.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to manage statutory audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

- Proven expertise in taxation, including direct and indirect taxes, with the ability to optimize tax efficiency.

- Strong understanding of internal control principles and the ability to implement and maintain robust control systems.

- Excellent financial reporting skills, with the ability to prepare and analyze financial statements.

- Proficiency in budgeting and forecasting, with the ability to develop realistic financial plans.

- Ability to conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis and trend analysis, to identify areas for improvement.

- Strong accounting skills, with a thorough understanding of accounting principles and procedures.

- Demonstrated ability to utilize data analytics tools and techniques to extract meaningful insights from financial data.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders.

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
